You get an award, and you get an award, everyone gets an award!

We all know that the CMC students are incredibly talented in a lot of activities. From sports to music, academics to community services, these students rock!  It's always great when we (as educators) get to show and acknowledge their hard work and skill publicly.  We saw the amazing awards won from the Scholastic Art Competition, there is however more shows that we submit art for; they include, the Congressional Art Show and the St. Clair Art Association Awards.  This year we've had great success at both! At the Congressional Art Show, with schools from across the 10th District, we took third place awards in both the Traditional Media and Photography/Digital Art categories!  The St. Clair Art Association Awards was amazing as we have won three out of the five main awards, including the Tom Fangman: Best in Show and the Program Cover Award! If you come by CMC make sure to check out the Tom Fangman plaque that will be hanging for a year with Emily Gibbon's name engraved on it! Congratulations to all CMC art students, your dedication does not go unnoticed!
